After winning the hearts of many in the hit off-Broadway show “Platanos and Collard Greens” while starring as the sweet coming of age Angelita, this breath of fresh air Latina has graced the roles of sassy Gloria in “Children of God” directed by Ben Harney and sweet Coral in Jaime Lozano’s “Children of Salt”. As a new age ingénue, Hjordy’s, a lyric coloratura soprano vocally trained by Janet Steele and Jaime Lozano, has danced her way into The Millenium Dance Complex in LA, and most recently In The Heights Luis Salgado’s R.Evolucion Latina.
